wow they really messed this phone up. i see it as the uprgade to the Dare, which i have, and it looks a lot worse, on the outside and the UI. it is definetely not similar to the bl40... the inly interesting thing is the music options, but its not worth it.
yes it is you can turn off the feedback or turn it to a different level of vibration or even type of vibration. so yes, you definetly can turn it off...
you can press for any amount of time, just hard enough and in the right spot. sometimes my callibration is off so touching the screen misses the icon and i just get haptic feedback.
i like this phone, i never had major problems with it. i think everyone thinks this phone's touchscreen is bad because it's capacitive, and many people don't understand how to use them, since you can't use your fingernail and only the actual finger. i got used to this, even though it's my first touchscreen device. as for the battery, i agree that it's not so great, but I've had phones that die after a day, and give me even less talk time. my phone receives on average, but i live in a good are for reception.

this doesn't seem much better than my dare... looks a bit cooler and has a few extra features and a Data Plan...

the omnia comes with wm 6.1, but it is upgradable to wm 6.5, if this changes anything.
