No the iPhone has the same look. Hardware wise it is more powerful then the droid due to a much more powerful and robust GPU.
VzW has the largest coverage but bigger doesn't mean best. You pay for the coverage you use not the coverage you don't need. In many states like Maryland At&t is the superior choice. Why if I live on the East Coast do i need to care that i get better coverage in Dakota....
Its not denial... VZW fanboys are just morons.... That Android with its beefy specs will have to run apps that the weaker android phones which means you will not be using that hardware. Already games are coming out that use the 3GS's GPU enhancements more and more. So i fail to see whats wrong with the 3GS since it has the features I want...
I am sorry but your creaming your pants over a phone that will really brings nothing new to the table either... Widgets... Really... who cares about widgets... 5MP camera can be nice but if all they did was just pack a high megapixel camera and gave it ZERO features that makes the actual picture look good then its just marketing.
Where are these Stastics of people dropping their iPhones? Please drop a link and show me before trying to tell me that people are dropping their iPhones in droves...
You are an idiot if you think that a MicroSD card is a wonderful idea. Who will carry or even care to make a library of SD cards they can easily lose? SD cards cannot be used to run programs natively. Also... 16gig Iphone cost just as much as your Storm with the 8gig card. If you pay for a 16gig you now spent more money then the 16gig iPhone 3gS and you still have less effective memory then the 32gig.
Now what makes your point absolutely idiotic is you will only have at max 16gigs on your phone at all times and carrying around multiple cards is just asking for them to become lost... So the only idiot is you...
The idea of MicroSD cards being needed for a phone is utterly retarded.. Built in memory is better..
The Storm 2 should have like 256mb of application memory and i think 2 gigs of storage. So even with a removable card you will have 18gigs for music, video, and pics. Now with the Blackberry Apps cannot run from your card... they must be downloaded onto the Application memory which for the Storm is a huge drawback. All Blackberries utilize the app memory for system resources. This means the more applications you place unto your App Memory the slower your blackberry will become.
Basically even with 256mbs you will only really have 100mbs depending on how much background process you do. So how does removable memory really help?
The differences is hardware. The 3GS can handle more then the 3G. If your doing "real world" phone and connection performance the 3G and the 3GS is the same. If your looking at how much faster it can process games and handle applications the 3GS is far better....
Oh and to reiterate... the 3G can do OTA Music downloads and does have aGPS.... So no matter how much you moron fanboy hate it... the VzW comparison is wrong... As for removable memory... Almost no apps can be run on your removable card... So that means only pics, videos, and music.... All the apps are going to be loaded on to what... 200mb application memory which your blackberry uses for resources...... How funny... you have to constantly delete your apps because if you fill up the Application memory your Blackberry will slow to a crawl...
Ignoring the fact is like like saying a PC is a PC and all PCs are the same. Better hardware means better performance for Applications...
I love how the fanboys arguments are always devoid of facts...
Vzw Fanman...how stupid can you be. First working for VzW, its been stated we are using their Mobile Tv coverage. Thats why we have an email about destroying all of the maps comparisons...
Second VzW nolonger shows their true 3g map. We took it down back in 2008 because... our 3G coverage isn't as big as we claim. VzW uses its 1XRTT map whenever it talks about 3G and claims it to be there EVDO map.
Its the phone. The Genius Bar Tech has noway of validating whether or not the drop call is happening outside of the device saying the call dropped. Any tech with Verizon Wireless will tell you that a phone can be the cause of the drop calls. The problem is Apple has there ass covered on this issue for one reason. AT&T cannot replace the phone... So if AT&T looks to validate your claims that you are having dropped calls they can actually see it... They can even tell what time and what tower dropped the call.
Problem is when they validate that it is not their fault they have to send you to Apple to seek a fix... Apple then can look at you and say the following... You need to clear your flash memory so the phone will not drop calls or what you are experiencing is normal its the carriers fault. The iPhone is a fantastic phone but people are forgetting this issue has been present in the phone since the 2G....
