This is cool and all, but I think they should start offering these phones unlocked, hense no stipulations.
There's nothing wrong w/ the Droid, I went to a VZW corp location by my house, messed w/ it, and I was quite surprised. Now, I'm not a big fan, the phone felt bulky in hand, though it is slim, the sharp lines make it feel bulkier than it is. The screen was responsive, not that laggy, the keyboard was eh..usable, but not my fav. It's a good phone, but not on an iPhone level- give it to your grandma and she will have trouble using it. The iPhone is the iPhone because everybody can use it and understand the interface. The Droid is a straight up geek phone point blank.
It's 'old' in the fact that there are other banging Winmo phones out already. Not saying it isn't a good phone, but w/ the HD2 on the horizon it makes this phone look 'old'. Again, that's what happens when the market comes out w/ a new phone every second...
yea, unfortunately this phone now seems old, even though it stills seems like a banging phone. That is the world we live in. These gadget blogs start talking about better devices before the good device comes out...bummer.
Tmo is playing the game right price wise, but I don't think they should be worrying about speed right now, because I'm still getting customers coming in wanting to switch to MetroPCS because they can't get a Tmo signal in their apartment. What's up w/ Tmobile and apartments?
Woud ppl get mad if at&t skipped LTE for a year or two and just worked on producing bang'n HSPA+...hell how about just HSPA service? Imagine the power at&t would have if it could cover 100% [impossible?] of the country w/ solid HSPA+. Meh, I'd be happy with just getting a solid 1mb down speed anywhere in the country...I've got patience
I'm just pointing out that the question mark in the title means whoever wrote the article doesn't know if it is or isn't, they're just sourcing that speculation from BGR, but if anyone actually reads the article, it doesn't say that the screen shot is anyting other than what it is-an htc device-and all that is in the first first couple or so sentences. The rest of the article is just info the Passion or w/e you would like to call it. Entertaining a stupid rumor or not entertaining a stupid rumor isn't the point here, the point is there's nothing wrong w/ the article, yet, everyone is acting like Phonearena is claiming w/ 100% proof that this is the Passion/Dragon...big ass android phone....but I digress...
