Just letting Daddy know, I bought the BB Tour w/camera, and it came with a 2Gb card.
It doesn't have WiFi... Why the heck not???? I wonder if connecting to websites would be better if I had WiFi in those places that actually had a WiFi signal, rather than relying on 3G 100% of the time.
But that's really my only complaint... Oh, does anyone else have issues with screen resolution when you go to a youtube video???

Wow, I feel like it was a million years ago when I started getting excited over this phone... having to wait for so long was bad enough, but now that it's going to a carrier that I don't even belong to is like adding insult to injury... And I'm at my renewal point with my phone plan also! haha! I hope it does well in its sales because it sounds like a great phone... but with a supposed price tag of $300.00 after rebate... seriously???

Was this only on an in-store model? While I'd agree that initial impressions are very important for any consumer decision, I hardly think that playing with an in-store model for 20 minutes would give me any real insight as to how a "fresh-out-of-the-box" version of the phone would do... Of course, you could be speaking as a customer who bought the phone, and then returned it very quickly because it was just that horrific for it to be in your possession. In which case, I completely understand your complaint.

ugh!!! Sprint sucked when I left them 5 years ago, and they still suck. Why the heck did Palm go to Sprint, instead of verizon anyway? Wouldn't it have been smarter to go sell their phone on a network with more people signed on? Clearly, I'm not savy on the business end of telecommunications, but it makes sense to offer your product to a network with a lot of people to maximize your chances of selling it to as many people as possible. At the very least, it would have been a stronger debut...

What aspect(s) of the phone are you talking about in terms of being locked down? I've been hearing news about smartphones being unlocked recently, like some blackberries and the Samsung Omnia. Are there other aspects of a phone that are locked down to VZW specifically other than the GPS? Thanks for your consideration and information!

Haha, I wonder what all those staunch defenders of Sprint have to say to those 257,001 people who left Sprint for what could be better customer service, prices or better phones or any combination of the above! Having been scoffed at by Sprint fans, for being with Verizon, I am inclined to have some schadenfreude.

I don't know why you hate Verizon so much... Did Verizon insult you some how? And for your information, I really like Verizon's signal coverage and customer service much better than I did with Sprint... So back off.

I have to admit, I was jazzed about this phone when it was first announced... But somehow it has lost its' appeal to me now.

I don't know much about HTC phones, but as long as they're pumping out those Android OS phones to Verizon, I'm happy.
