They have to fight back by filing a lawsuit? WTF is that dude? Is that how YOU solve problems, by blindly firing off a lawsuit? Do you not realize the image issues AT&T will soon be having with that lawsuit in tow. They have to prove the claim that their customers are so DUMB that they would misconstrue 2g voice with 3g data, which I would call insulting if I were an AT&T customer. And it's great considering in previous ads AT&T themselves have preyed upon the idea of "we have 3g, you don't, ha ha ha" now it's being fired right back at them. A bitch slap for a bitch. Oh, and in case you don't realize, VZW is ready to meet them in court, so it'll be great when AT&T loses the case. What? You didn't think the massive legal department that VZW has didn't check every nook and cranny of those commercials before airing them? They knew AT&T would act like this and they're ready for them. The new commercials are saying "Bring it on" because they're right: AT&T network sucks, we have hard proof and oh btw, good luck suing us. You won't win, kthxbai."

Let's apply some logic to this situation: VZW dropped the price in a big way on the HTC Touch Pro, droppin that phone from 300 to 99 straight up, which for VZW is pretty strange. Then a month later, the HTC Touch Pro 2 is set to drop. Omnia down this much? Yep, I bet the Omnia 2 is peeking around the corner from October. Just a hunch...

Yeah, we all know AT&T is still going to upgrade their 3g. And we all know (or maybe all of us but you) know that AT&T has all ready stated that they should have LTE going up by 2014. Wait, what??? 2014? Test markets by end of the year according to VZW. And you think by the time AT&T gets their LTE up and running VZW will still just have "gateway devices?"

...Did you even read my comment, you god damned retard? I was referring to how AT&T had all their customers (not losing them, thanks for big 'ol F in reading comprehension), that's great the iPhone added 3 million and VZW added 10 with Alltel, I really don't care. And finally, he SHOULDN'T say anything about Euro to American, b/c he's an American user who's trashing American coverage, saying Euro has much better network, then goes on to talk about how wickedly badass the American 3g gsm AT&T network is, right after he got done trashing the crap out of it. ...dude, wtf is that? Seriously, you're going to compare EURO 3G to 3G American, say American sucks, then go say you're leaving VZW to go to AT&T? Dude, read your stuff before you post those mindless ramblings.



And since you're talking about "Euro to American", do understand that your provider is co-owned by the largest Euro provider?


Oh, and AT&T merged with Cingular, that's where all those customers came from. What'd you do, wake up in a cave 2 years ago?

And that's why VZW has nearly 90 million and T-Mobile has circa 30-35 million? And Sprint...they're the one's starting the price war and they're STILL losing hundreds of thousands customers every financial quarter. With BB's and smartphones on the rise too, I don't see anything back up that claim. Just b/c the economy isn't doing so hot doesn't mean the cheap phones and carriers win. Some are being frugal, however we're seeing more and more rises in the smartphone industry, and we have the most expensive carrier on top.

Verizon won't be locking down the app store on the iPhone IF they get it. I've heard many things of VZW locking down app stores, but if you look on the BB Storm under their third party apps download section, the BB App store is ready for install the moment you power on the Storm. VZW has become more and more lenient when it comes to some of their locking down aspects. The bluetooth for one has become less and less locked down as the company progresses.

Bottom line, the app store isn't going to be a roadblock for VZW.
