What PhoneArena fails to mention is that opening the home page of the mobile web browser DOES NOT CHARGE. VZW changed this over a year ago shortly after they came out with the Nationwide plans.

Yeah this probably goes for iPods as well. I learned the hard way with my 1st gen nano... left it in my car one too many times... in the summer... in Phoenix.
Definitely gets well above 95 degrees in a car in Phoenix in July.
Needless to say I am much more careful with my 2nd gen nano that replaced the first one.

First off, the Q first launched 3 years ago (2006), not 5 years and secondly... this thing is only $50... FIFTY DOLLARS! Find me another smarthphone for $50 that has specs that match this phone.
Maybe, just maybe, there are smarthphone users out there who don't need 5+mp cameras and such, and don't want to spend $200+ on a phone.
God forbid HTC make a very affordable lower end smarthpone.

They are getting this exact phone (except it will be called the "ozone") on June 29th for $100 cheaper than Sprint's version.

This will be $49.99 AFTER a $70 mail in rebate. It will have Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, EVDO Rev. A, 256mb FLASH, 196mb RAM, WiFi, 2.0 mp camera w/auto focus, full global capability, and odly enough it looks like it will use a Mini-USB charger, not a Micro-USB.

Not a bad deal on this phone but the way AT&T does BOGO (buy one get one) sucks ass. It's one thing to have to do a mail in rebate on the first device (the one you actually are "buying") but to also have to do a rebate to get the second one free is retarded.
Say all the bad things about VZW you want as far as them being greedy and nickle and diming you, at least when they do any BOGO deal the second one is ALWAYS free out the door.
