Okay, that fart app thing is so overused. Nobody even uses that. And I agree that there are other services like iTunes. But try telling that to Palm who insisted on making the Pre join the iPods and iPhones in the ability to iTunes sync
Umm, the iPhone was only referred to once, which was the 100,000 apps thing. And now you're making the whole advertisement iPhone based. This is why the iPhone will not die anytime soon. People are always referring to it, comparing it to something else, criticizing it, worshipping it, bashing it, etc. This is about AT&T vs Verizon and you somehow managed to be all about the iPhone. This really isn't about the phone at all. AT&T probably wouldn't have mentioned the apps part if Verizon hadn't put (or mention i.e. iDon't and DroidDoes) the iPhone in almost all of their latest commercials.
Look how you guys rationalize every bad thing Verizon does. Seriously, this is one of the reasons I left. I kept getting mysterious charges ony bill. Like one time they said that I had called in to increase my mailbox space but that was a big lie considering how I never knew the feature existed. But hey, I guess that's okay since they are the number 1 wireless provider and therefore they are allowed to screw up with my bill.
Apple better watch out because AT&T can be the cause of their downfall. I think AT&T should just drop the charges because Verizon isn't really lying. But saying that, I'm still not ready to give up my iphone. I'd rather stick with the network than have lame-o phone that I will hate after 6 months of use.
You need to calm down right now. Most phones (or almost none) have flash capabilities and the Pre and the Droid still don't have it. It's still to early to start with that stuff now. This isn't like MMS where everyone had it years before, so your comparison is a little bit off.
