In a world where Microsoft products not only survive, but dominate, you can't count on the general public to have the good graces to avoid crap. If anything, MS products show that the general public is more than willing to consume actual crap if it's packaged properly. Thus, unfortunately, even as crappy as that product format looks, if Verizon and Nokia market it well, it could be the next big thing in mobile devices.
I wonder if it's only supporting the Windows version of the Dell mini-9, and not the Ubuntu version... and I've been trying to confirm that you can just do the mobile internet plan instead of having to do the plan that combines mobile internet (with a lower monthly cap) and DSL (which I don't need).
They should come out with pay-per-use and pay-per-day services for it too. $.20/MB is a great rate, but I don't need the 5GB up front. Just having it available on a per-MB basis, no 5GB, no $60/mo, would be nice. Even if they raised the pay-per-use rate a little ($.30, $.40, or even $.50/MB), it'd be worth it.
No, we're talking about software on the Touch Pro. Or what we'd want to see on the Touch Pro. I don't see anything in the article that says "you must restrict your replies to being about browsers, and not OS".
