Yay! The courts denied the request from At&t which requested Verizon to withdraw its "map" commercials. "A small step for man. A giant step for mankind..." :P
If I were Verizon Wireless, I wouldn't give a damn. They say that a percentage of customers "can" receive 3G service. But how many customers actually do? At&t is worried as Verizon has finally taken the gloves off and is using the network to explicitly explain the difference between the two companies. T-Mobile is in a good position because it doesn't claim any fame on its network and its coverage is similar to At&t's. Go figure...
At&t doesn't have a case to win any suits. It's obvious that Verizon Wireless is comparing 3G Coverage and coverage alone. What could you possibly say that is false advertising!?
Really, *HOVA*!? Are we really so naive that although it clearly states "3G Coverage", Verizon Wireless is eluding to stating that you either ge 3G or nothing? You must be the fanboy of all fanboys with that terrible statement. And honestly, even though VZW didn't say it, if you're using an iPhone 3G specifically, we're educating those customers that the 3G branded device only gives you 3G coverage in very few areas. Verizon Wireless has finally taken the gloves off and is now on the offensive. Maybe At&t can hire another celebrity spokesperson to say otherwise! Stop wasting money on mediocre celebs and upgrade the network! VZW FTW and there's a map for that!
I dont believe the updated version will be available to everyone as the agreement between Google and Verizon Wireless gave exclusive rights to the platform to latter company. No too sure about it but I think that's how the agreement worked out! :)
And so it begins...The once untouchable company which has been considered as innovative, is now seeing that being the best(Verizon Wireless) has its downsides. The target on your back only gets bigger...
Anyone have information on this "W.A.V.E." Movement with At&t. I thought it was funny when I heard about it but i'm not sure I know what it is exactly about to be making assumptions. Please enlighten us...!

On the contrary! Verizon Coverage IS THAT GOOD. Otherwise, the next step for At&t to take would be to file a lawsuit for false advertising! Similar to the lawsuits against At&t for putting 3G on all their iPhones. Even when that 3G iPhone doesn't get 3G speeds.
Consumer Los Angeles, CA: "Hey, Bro! I just bought my new 3G iPhone. It's Awesome!"
Consumer Kearney, NE: "I just got my 3rd Generation iPhone..."
Consumer LA: "Aren't they the same phone?"
Consumer Kearney: "Only during our family reunion... In Los Angeles... I can't wait!"
