If i had to guess the Toshiba model is in the Cellbrite so we can transfer numbers from it to a VZW device. It would be nice to have a Snapdragon device but i would rather have the HD2. When it comes to the Omnia II ive been asking about it and all i hear is that its coming and we cant talk about it because its "top secret"! Hearing that its top secret is a load of crap. VZW is holding back inventory of the WinMo devices intentionally because they are pushing the Android OS.

Personally im only intrested in 2 phones mentioned on this list which are the Omnia II and the Passion.

oops i meant "the camera"! Yes sometimes good design is all you need to have a so called better device. Quemical its not even even 5 yrs more like 2 years lol.

LOL jrcrow79 i would agree with you on the 6800. I had 1 in 2008 before i got an Omnia and i could'nt stand the keyboard. At least it wasnt as cramped and didnt have that stupid directional pad.

Honestly the Droid is OK. From a design standpoint they camera is OK, no customized UI and the kicker for me is the terrible keyboard. My only grip is that it could have had a flash but other then that i think youll be better served with the Eris.

I did mention you can upgrade to the connect plan for $10 more but thats assuming your on the nationwide select 450 min plan which is $59.99. $10 more puts you at the nationwide connect 450 plan. BrokenImaege your def right about people mostly being on select plan and not the basic plan.

You may have heard that and you might be correct but as of right now there is only 1 non smartphone that requires the data plan and thats the Rogue. The Chocolate Touch has not been officially released so until it is announced we can't be sure. If you don't like the data feature then you have a few options
1) you can buy a different device.
2) upgrade your plan to include unlimited data
3) or do us all a favor and do some research the and if you find a better deal then go to a different carrier.

Kvenderley im just curious how you have come to the conclusion that the TP2 is NOT popular or its a piece of ****? You think they did'nt begin with a big inventory ....well I know for a fact that they didnt have a ton of TP2. The problem is that
1) VZW didnt order enough product (underestimated demand)
2) Every carrier has this device so materials are getting diverted and
3) They could be holding product back because all new devices are going to have WinMo 6.5 (not confirmed just a thought)
4) VZW has so many new devices coming out this quarter (Storm 2 Omnia II Sholes Eris) that i feel that they are wanting customers to go to the Sholes cus there on this silly Android kick.

David i can def understand your concern about the touch screen keyboard. I know i def make more mistakes with the virtual keyboard.
