thanks for being so kind unlike the ass40le below you.
shut the @#$% up #25, I was leaving my opinion. I'm allowed.
If you think I'm an idiot? Then you're a #@$%ing idiot. Do you see half the 2#$@ that gets posted here?
-Oh my, such a dirty mouth. Yeah you just Reek of customer service...

And since when is it that #@%ing hard to hold a little seminar training CS reps?
-It actually is pretty damn hard trying to train people fresh with no prior experience.

I used to work CS for a computer company and in one day we we're told what to do and how to handle any situation.
-Polite conversation being a bit beyond your scope?

Obviously someone died in the CS division because there has been NO improvement. Turning a plane around? Well, Sprint's plane's wheels fell off a long time ago.
-Who said anything about a plane... I belive the term "Aircraft Carrier" was used. You know, Huge boat? Planes land on it? If I see a aircraft carrier flyin around I'm gonna run and hide...

Face it, improve all the technology you want, but those things shouldn't even be mentioned until CS is up and running.
-Better tech gives CS a better backing for thier products.

Maybe Verizon doesn't have all that new technology, but guess what.. they're service works EVERYWHERE for me, my mobile web is faster than ever, and when I have a problem, CS HELPS ME!
-We here at Sprint help all the time, but if you call in and yell and scream and piss and moan... will we bend the rules or start quoting policy?

You're ignoring the fact that even though you claim Sprint is doing all of these awesome things, they're not working on CS first.
-Actually they are. I watched about 50 people get walked out the door for having bad Issue Resolution.
CS should be put FIRST. BEFORE WIMAX, BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE! All of this new technology sprint is coming out with is bound to have problems, and if you don't have competent, attentive CS reps handling those situations, you're going to lose customers, and lose them fast.
-But we do have great CS reps and its called multi-tasking. You should try it sometime. It's called "make-them-watch-one-hand-while-you-do-something-with-the-other-one" Behind the curtain type stuff. But its being done.

I'm nobody's fan-boy, and I hate the iPhone, there's several phones I dislike and some I do like from all different companies (I would rather have a mac than a PC any day) the iPhone washes out to easily in direct light. capacitive tech for the touch is a bit annoying living in Oregon where it rains all the time. I wear gloves often so something like that is a hinderance for a full touch screen. bt support? ecch. camera was ok, I'm used to 1.1mp cams so it was nice. speed of the interface was OK though being able to use custom software was a issue. what Really turned me off the iPhone however was Apple Inc Attacking any software developer for WM5/6.x who even dared create any touch interface for those phones that looked even remotely like the iPhone causing several sites to shut down. Thats what turned me away.

VZW uses the Qchat network too. Qchat is Owned and Operated by Quailcomm wireless. Sprint doesn't really have control over it and it works in all EVDO Rev a networks.

Bad Monkey! No phones on during flight! ^_^

Guess I'm one of the HATTERS... oh wait you mean Haters. blah. I walked into a AT&T store with my 2 year old phone (a IP-830w by Samsung from Sprint) and the only thing they could show me was the interface... I pulled up WisBar Desktop... oh look I have a full-screen interface JUST like a iPhone! OK, their next Sale try. The "pinch-to-zoom" Interface. ooooo ok, granted that its cool that it can register more than one touch at a time. that is cool. HOWEVER the odd position he was holding it in just to show it off was almost comical. I slid up my phone and double-tapped the screen and zoomed in and out just like he was on a fully rendered web page that actually loaded up faster than on his demo iPhone. Ok, last try. him="Well the iPhone has a camera..." me="Can it send MMS?" him="No its unable to send picture mail, however you can send a picture through email to someone" me="oh gee... what a surprise. Mine has to do the same thing, I just cant take pictures. If thats all you can show me, I'm done." At that point I got kicked out of the store. WhooHoo!

Actually the reason why my credit is so bad is because I have bad taste in women, the last one stole nearly $50,000.00 of company equipment (but because I'm in Oregon and it was a Sole Ownership and I was with her for over 6 months it was considered "communial property"), took my check book and started writing checks everywhere while I was at work, used my ATM card at one atm to make a "deposit" and withdraw the "deposited money" in another all while I was at work. So now I'm in checksystems and unable to get a bank account. I'm stuck with a prepaid credit card for another 2 years and I actually only owe about $3,000 to misc companies according to my Experian Credit report. So yeah, Verizon needs to implement a plan like that (ASL Accounts) and they would completely slam the market. I would jump ship ETF and all if they did that.

24 Jul 2008

Dude, Sprint is the ONLY company with the ASL plan. Which makes deposits lower for customers. I tried to get a Verizon phone and they wanted $700.00 outta me for a deposit. Sprint? a simply $150.00 so yeah New car or New Phone?

The samsung instinct... hands down

Very nice phone, highly moddable, worked great in England/UK and Austrailia. There can be java compatibility for this phone as well as a great bluetooth connection. I noted no drops in the headset in audio or transfers of files. Bluetooth GPS connection also works well without draining the battery too quickly, normal internet usage on a full charge on the stock battery will work about 1 1/2 to 2 hours tops without need of a recharge. all in all a very good phone, SD card however does have some registration issues and the notification que tends to get cluttered and causes slowdowns. so 7 out of 10 for this phone.
