RIM BlackBerry Storm 9530
The Storm is the BlackBerry with touch sensitive screen, targeted as a rival to the iPhone. It features 3.2” display, 3.2MP camera, full HTML browser, on-screen SureType keyboard and all is 0.5” in thickness. This one is the CDMA/GSM hybrid that can operate both with Verizon Wireless and on GSM networks.

I am using the 5.0 leak, and LOVE it except for a few apps that don't work yet. That will get fixed soon enough. As far as getting an OFFICIAL version for S1, it will make a lot of people happier. Me? I am gonna get S2, and will wait a bit to see the initial shake up.

I would like to ask HOW you can guarantee the release date. Are you the CEO of RIM? Verizon?

Fortunately, unless people spend their time on sites like these, they won't know until they see it at Best Buy, or on CNN. That is, until VZW puts up a link on their website. I just checked, nothing yet.
The 25th, huh? That will be an interesting day for sure if that is when it hits.

For CDMA folks, it's easy, just get your phone swapped out. GSM? Now that you've given the boys in blue the tip, they'll write down the SIM. Nice going. LOL

Interesting that RIM still hasn't announced the Storm II, yet it has been leaking like a sieve all over the web. I guess they are hoping that some sheep will be intrigued by the BOGO offers associated with Storm I to but this well-intentioned, but poorly-executed piece of hardware/software. Don't get me wrong, I love my Storm. I look at Storm II, and feel WOW! Not to mention what the 5.0 OS does (even as a leak)

I agree about the typing and the speed. Also, no reboots during the day, memory at 37mb after 11 hrs. Not quite polished enough for gold code, but darn close!!

Not perfect, but better than my first foray into 5.0 (.140). Threaded SMS, re-org of apps, new things added. Lost some app functionality, but not yet a dealbreaker. Losing BBM5 however, did hurt, as I am spoiled on that. Today will decide if I stay on this OS, or go back to .151
