HTC announces four new smartphones

HTC has today announced four new Windows Mobile smartphones giving them the model names S620, P3300, P3600 and S310. These are all devices we've written a lot about but have only been know by their codenames, respectively being the Excalibur, Artemis, Trinity and Oxygen.

The S620 (Excalibur) is a new slim quad-band GSM/EDGE Smartphone in candybar design with full QWERTY keyboard, 2.4 inch QVGA display with an innovative control pad next to it called JOGGR. The device has 64MB RAM,  microSD, 1.3 megapixel shooter, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 support.

The P3300 (Artemis) is also a quad-band GSM/EDGE device and is the first HTC phone with built GPS. It has a 2.0 megapixel camera, FM Radio, microSD cards slot and features a full range of connectivity with its Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB support. It has a trackball called RollR which is used for navigation and acts as a mouse.

The P3600 (Trinity) is the successor of the Prophet and is actually a TyTN but in candybar design with the QWERTY keyboard cut off. It a 3G-capable smartphone with tri-band UMTS/HSDPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE support and also features 2.0 megapixel camera and a secondary one for video calling, Wi-FI and Bluetooth 2.0.

The S310 (Oxygen) is a slim quad-band GSM/EDGE Smartphone in candybar design and is a lower end phone, compared to the  previous three models. It has a 2-inch TFT display, 1.3 megapixel camera, miniSD slot, push e-mail, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB support.

Currently the devices are only getting European launches, but we guess it won't be long until these show up on the US market.
