Constellation line by Vertu

Vertu are to announce a new line of stylish mobile phones called Constellation, which will be the cheapest devices offered by the fashion handsets brand up to now. The name of the series comes from the famous Lockheed airplane, while designer Frank Nuovo has even used the propeller symbol at the microphone. The Constellation line consists of three handsets, which are overall the same with the only difference being their weight and the material used – one is 18 carat Gold and the other two are respectively “polished“ and “satin” steel. All of these are combined with stylish leather at the back, which will be offered in various colors. All three phones are quad-band GSM/EDGE devices with Bluetooth and USB support, as well as business functionality. Nokia's S40 UI is the used interface and it will be displayed on a 262k color TFT screen covered by scratch-proof sapphire crystal, while you can order your keypad to be made of fluorescent ceramics. There's no info on the pricing of the devices but an official announcement of the Vertu Constellation series is to take place in a few weeks. Yet a launch is not supposed to happen before October 2006.
