2. Awesome samsung low price phone!

I had this phone over almost one month and It's awesome.Most of the users want a low price phone with the newest technology (in this time it's definetly the touchscreen) and I think that Samsung is the best phone for that.It's very light,small dimensions and the hard keys are easy to press.The in call quality is excellent and thanks to the DNSE (Digital Natural Sound Engine) the ringtones are loud.The menu is standard Samsung base but with more eficency with the touchscreen.But only one thing that I don't like it's that you can't customize your homescreen because you need to have one picture divide in three (because of the three home screen's) for the best perfomance otherwise you will have one picture strecht all over the three home screen.Many users have said that the baterry life is poor but my phone can go on almost 4 days so I don't know where the problem is,maybe samsung has different phones in other country's? (I am from Croatia)
Overall this is a awesome low price phone.If you are looking for a low price,nice and stylish phone with trusted features you just found it!
-small dimensions
-samsung friendly user interface
-battery is very good
-low price
-nice quality-you can't have a user installed home screen (you need to cut your picture in three)
-didn't find any java aplication so far
-only one game (depending on your operatot)

3. Correction

People!!!! There is a correction to be made....... I had posted a review in which i said that the music player has a problem it stops by itself after a min or 2......... Well the problem was not with the music player but the F***in music files which i downloaded were bad ...... but i cant put a game or a software in the phone (sad).....they say that samsung has put a lock on it & u have to unlock the phone to use any other free game or free software they expect us to buy every thing from the internet & then use it on the locked phone!!!!! (but i still love it)...

Hi Guys! I bought this set 1 weak before.. I found it good set.. In short it is good than nokia touch screen. Its good in this price. i have only one problem that i could not install software on it. Messaging is also v v easy on it.
Good battery life
Working smooth
Privacy lock systems
v v bright screen
Easy messaging
Light weight n luking smartTouch screen is not so sensitive as iphone but better than nokia touch screen
No Software installing
Some java application does not install
No Flash

6. caller id problem

i have saved all my contacts to phone memory.Bt incoming calls, sms dont show the caller id.I live in Srilanka. And when i saved my Friend's contact No as +94771234567 - the sms shows the Id, bt not the incoming calls. If i save my contact as 77123456 my incoming calls show the caller id..bt nt the sms. if i save as 0771234567, shows nothing.....If some one know wht to do plz reply.
Other than this...camera is very blurry since it doesnt have autofocus,music player has some noice.All the other features are really good...battery life is good.

I bought Samsung Star almost a month back & I am very much satisfied with it . It looks lovely (a very bright screen), a good camera (lacks flash but has the other basic functions- zoom , night mode , etc) , does not have WiFi (i dont need it anyway) , the battery back up is great (dont know about anyone else but mine lasts for 3 days!!), descent sound quality, touch screen , gesture lock are good too..... I dropped the phone once after that the camera takes 2 extra! seconds to start (thats my mistake). But the most confusing thing is the phone eats up 2 or 3 seconds of the start of the ring tone music on the first ring ( i have a good transformers ring tone it sounds like optimus prime had a hiccup while saying it ) & the music player stops on its own after a minute (bizarre) then i have to press pause & play again......... Other than these 2 problems the is great.

I'm going to buy one, but i'm already fascinated! This celphone is perfect! The camera is of 3.2 mp, who needs more? The touchscreen is simply great, and the design is of course the best of ever! Buy this cellphone if you love touchscreen, don't want to become poor after buying your cellphone and if you don't need all those useless (and expensive) things they put on the top ones.

Hey,
I bought a samsung star 15 days ago. I realised that the phone does not catch network. I have to switch off and on the phone to catch the network :( The service center said it was some software problem...but called me the next day to tell me that the mother board needs to be changed.
Can u believe it in 15 days i had to give my cell for repairs and they said we cannot tell you how long it will take...around 10-15 days!!!!!!!
DONT BUY SAMSUNG STAR :( it sucks!!!
Design!Bad network coverage.
Samsung service center...worst.

I bought S-5233A two weeks ago. The network/reception vanishes periodically. To get the network back you need to switch off and switch on your phone after every hour or so. Service technicians say that its a software problem in the phone. Sometimes incoming and outgoing calls do not connect despite having full signal strength. I have been using two Vodafone cards for the last five years on Nokia without any problem. Chnage of phone to Samsung S-5233A has created so many problems.
please check VODAFONE compatibility with this handset before purchase.
