1. Good First Phone

This phone is good for someone getting their first phone. It's great for texting there's not alot more you can do on it. It does have a feature for instant messaging which is useful if you use AIM, Yahoo, or MSN. The battery life is good. Where the charger port is, it has an image of headphones; there is not a port for headphones. You can record audio on it but no video and the picture quality is only halfway decent in really good light. I have this phone and I can't wait to get a new one, but for parents buying a cell phone for their kids, this is a good phone at a good price and they can pretend they have a blackberry ! =)

2. an awesome phone

when i first got this phone from my mom, i was astounded.      for the cost it really is a great phone.     the keys are easy to get to, and the keys can also be used as shortcuts.    the only problems i hav with it are that i wish the screen was bigger, and that the keys were easier to get to.    kinda like the lg rumor.    its keys are nicely spaced.    other than these faults, it really is a great phone.

3. Glamorous Gizmo

The Samsung family of phones share a commonality among one another.  "User friendly", which is an understatement for the Magnet.  The Magnet if you are familiar with other Samsung's, will greet you like an old but good memory.  It's body is aesthetically stunning, a pure pleasure to the eyes.  No matter the lonely color which it is offered in (just happens to be my personal favorite), it's appealing to everyone.

Easy functionality.
Sleek and smooth feel.
Optional clear cover looks clever.
Plenty of memory (for my needs anyhow)
Easy to read screen.
Tons of editing possibilities and options.
Lots of one button shortcut possibilities
No slot for SD memory card
No bluetooth from phone to phone, only to headset (I dont use one)
Small keys may be tough on those with vision problems or big fingers

IMPOSSIBLE to tether this device. even AT&T laptop support could not get it to work.
