iPhone to be available in Italy, S.America, no more in UK

In Italy, two carriers, Vodafone and Telecom Italia are expected to offer the Apple iPhone later this year. This breaks the tradition set in other countries, where it has been available exclusively with one carrier only.
America Movil, the largest wireless operator in Latin America, also announced an agreement with the Cupertino company, to distribute the phone through its carriers.
At the same time, O2 in the UK is no longer offering either the 8GB or 16GB variants. It is obviously expecting the 3G iPhone to be launched.
