iPhone app gives those at the movies the green light to go to the bathroom

This is a problem that has afflicted us all. After downing that $5 cup of soda at the movie theater, nature calls but we are too absorbed with the movie on the screen to answer. Naturally, on the iPhone, there's an app for that. For 99 cents, RunPee will give you a timer that lets you know when the movie turns dull enough for you to empty your bladder. It will also summarize the part of the movie that you missed. Furthermore, the app will let you know if there is a surprise ending that runs during the closing credits so you won't be the one left out amongst your circle of friends discussing that hilarious bit that ran after the name of the "Best Boy" was up on the screen.

The instructions are rather simple. Select the movie that you are attending, start the timer when the picture starts, and your breaks will be scheduled throughout the movie. We have seen some useful iPhone apps before, but RunPee is one that actually fills a need. Instead of flushing away your money with games, flashlights and other downloads that will just take up space on your device, RunPee is a tool that you can use everytime you head to the theater.

this is again the reason why this site is nothing but junk and useless info. A app like this is retarded and the fact that thnis site writes a page article on it shows how retarded these writers truly are.

i phone 1,000,000 apps and 999,999 are useless junk Lets go bird watch with my iphone. Thats useful.

Thats no counterpoint. This site has become announcement after announcement for iphone apps, credibility is clearly a joke to these amateurs.

That is a counterpoint. Everyone keeps talking about how this site is so useless but its amazing to see how many people keep coming back to the site and its even more amazing how many people keep coming back to the iphone articles.

I'm kinda surprised this site wrote the article the way they did. They speak of the application like its some crazy ground breaking technology. I bet you whoever wrote this article has an Iphone and is also an Iphone nutthugger because this really isn't that big of a deal. Cool it will tell you what happened while your gone but with this app running and the 3Gs horrible battery life can the phone make it through the movie? Apple developers are retarded to make the 3Gs faster and do a couple more things and decrease the size of the battery by 15%. Doesn't make sense!
