iPhone OS 2.0 now jailbroken

advertisment:
The "iPhone-dev team" released the PwnageTool 2.0, which can now jailbrake both the iPhone (with 2.0 software) and iPhone 3G, allowing for third party applications to be installed via the unofficial installers, in addition to the official Apple App Store. The tool also SIM unlocks the first generation iPhone, but 3G owners will have to wait for a future release, in order to use just any SIM card.

Application for jailbraking is available for Mac users, but if you are running a Windows computer, there is also a solution. It would require a few more not-so-simple steps, but that is hacking after all.
