Walmart offering the BlackBerry Storm, Tour, and 8900 Curve for free

advertisment:
If you're in the market for one of RIM's many business oriented devices, you may want to be aware about a special offering Walmart is currently having for a select few BlackBerries. The world's largest retailer is really making it very attractive by offering the Verizon BlackBerry Tour and Storm for free after instant rebates. If Big Red isn't your provider, then you might want to check out the AT&T or T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 which won't cost you anything from the retailer. Activations fees are also being waived right now for anyone setting up a new line for the first time. If you currently have a family plan, only the  primary line on the account will be eligible for the savings. One trick to get around it so everyone on your family plan can get the same deal is to call up customer service and switch the primary line to the next family member on the account until everyone gets their fill. It's probably a great time now to get one of these BlackBerry devices if you've been holding out for a while.

Its those type of comments that I hate.... Call Verizon to change your Primary line, I'm sure they would catch on if you got a new Blackberry and tried to switch it. Not only is that cheating the system but you aren't even supposed to be able to do it, because the line has to be on the Primary plan for at least 3 months. If I hear one customer come in and ask to do that I'm going to be pissed.

The other thing is that you can only make so many changes within a bill cycle. This would be the dumbest idea because it will cause a prorated bill for our customers and that is the worst thing to explain to a customer. See it is sites like this that make me mad, because I try my best to do my customers right and when people give them ideas like this and I have to resolve the dispute it makes out company look bad in the end.

and while your very noble for conducting your business the way that you do, there are a lot more people who are just as sneaky as whoever decided to come up with the primary line switch idea, and they make you look bad.

that just sucks :(
