With it's massive 4.3 inch display, the 1GHz Snapdragon processor under the hood and powered by Windows Mobile 6.5, there is no mistaking the HTC HD2. The handset has produced Beatlemania type reactions from those who have seen the device in action, and those who have actually been able to touch one have had parts of their clothes ripped off by adoring cellphone fans. While it's no Hard Day's Night, the HTC HD2 has been taped during an unboxing. Just seeing the HD2 being showed off for a hardware tour is enough to make you feel light headed and weak in the knees as you reach for your wallet. The fab phone is expected to come to America to perform for T-Mobile customers, and you know that can't be bad.

why can't we have something like this in the US? i know Verizon is going to screw up this phone if they do get it. I am already hearing that their version of the HD2 is gonna have a 3.8 in screen! sooo laaaame! its probably going to be ugly too... I just want this exact phone with android on it... is that really too much to ask?!

Saneok, your an Idiot...Does VZW build the phone? NO! HTC does...we sell service, we dont build phones...If there is any leverage we have on a device its what it has IN it, not how its built structurely. I knwo VZW has BEEN known (past tense) for dumbing down phones, but thats the past, and we ARE the future of wireless...Moto DROID, HTC Droid Eris, HTC Imagio (which looks awsome) and the Storm 2. I have had hamds on with all 4 of these devices and I can honestly tell you verizon isn't touching the innerds of the phones ANYMORE...So bring me a 3.8 inch screen (THATS HUGE) and everything HTC has to offer. I garentee you probably still wouldnt even buy it even if it came out to your specs...Cheap sucker.

Supposedly VZW is getting a US version of the HTC HD2 called the Passion? Hopefully its not the image that I've seen on various posts which looks nothin like the HTC HD2. Anybody with anymore info let me know...i'm lookin at the HTC Imagio but can wait if the HD2 that i'm seein now will be released around Christmas.
