The LG VX-9800 is a device about which we knew for a quite some time now. It was approved by the FCC in March, but only now it is officially announced from a major US carrier. Verizon Wireless will offer the VX-9800 for $299.99 with at two-year service agreement since September the 26th this year.
LG VX-9800 is CDMA EV-DO high speed capable device which features 256 x 320 display with 1.3 Mega Pixel camera, and miniSD memory expansion slot. When it is closed, it looks as an ordinary phone in bar form factor, with small 65k display, but when opened, it has a large 262k color display, and full QWERTY keyboard, for comfortable messaging.
