Are you bored to death with the uniform colors of today´s cell phones? Annoyed at the fact that all business handsets come in unimaginative color solutions? Well, Verizon thinks about all of you who feel this way! Some of our tipsters have sent us pictures that reveal the violet version of the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8530 and we must admit it looks quite sexy and able to bring joy to ladies. The handset is expected to roll out November 20 through Verizon and Sprint.

So, are you excited about the option? Would you get a high-quality business oriented handset in an offbeat color like this or you´d rather stick to more conventional solutions?

Doesn't Verizon have a pink blackberry already? The Curve or the 8800 series? Soccer moms now have an upgrade option to continue their distinction among the business folks stuck at their kids' sporting events. LOL

The Curve is pink, but the article is saying this is a new concept. Biggles was just advising it's just a new color, not concept.

Maybe its just a terrible picture, but I can't see how it is called violet

Maybe you're color blind. It looks pretty purple to me, and I AM colorblind. Only to light shades of pink and green. So I guess we all now know that I'm not a pilot:)
