Verizon releasing the Krave tomorrow

We've know about the impending release of the Motorola Krave ZN4 for a while now, but we're glad to hear that it will officially be out on October 14th. It is the first touchscreen phone from Motorola for Verizon, and has an innovative clear plastic flip (Ming-style) with integrated earpiece speaker. Some would call it a "crossover touchscreen flip-phone." One customer was even able to order a unit last week and was kind enough to share some pictures. Pricing is $149 after $50 rebate with a 2-year contract.

deal isnt really the word i would use. Not that its bad but your paying full retail for the phones which you have always been able to do. Your better off just signing the agreement and getting the phone for cheaper. The nice part is there has been and always will be that phone you would get...

It's pretty cool... Touch screen is a lil' slow sometimes but WAAAAAY more responsive than the Samsung Glyde. What I can tell you is that the one wierd thing about the phone is that when you turn the phone for the QWERTY keyboard, the clear flip gets in the way of your left hand. Something you can get used to but it's still kinda awkward. I would recommend this phone for someone who is into new and crazy things.

it does but not the way any one with half a brain would want it to.try texting on the full keybord with that damn mini van windshield in the way, the thing has set motorola back. it is trashtastic. and the biggest problem with the phone is that if you flush it down the toilet guarenteed it will plug up.

Slow
QWERTY with the flip open? WTF?
Camera seems mediocre
Big
Touchscreen limited on what you can do through the flip
Un-intuitive camera and other controls

Cant say for call quality yet, we'll have to see

I have to agree. The clear touch screen flip and the almost magical ear piece is really nice but that is where the pros end. The phone is bearable at best. I do give Motorola an A for effort but I give them a B-/C+ for execution.
