I just wanted to say that lg came out with the prada first... why? because if you look at the specs and the timeline, lg thought of the prada first. The iphone was copied from the prada. Look it up champ, won't be hard to find. The dare is a variation of the prada. So if you say that all touch screen phones are about the iphone? no, they should be about the prada. Or if you want to go back before that... you have everysingle windows and palm devices that are touch screen, you just use a stylus for the most part instead of your finger. So will people please stop saying that the iphone started the touch screens, that's not even anywhere near being true.

So I finally got some hands on playing time with this bad boy and it is definitely a step above the Voyager (which I don't think is all that bad). Touch screen feels morwe responsive and scrolling is a lot easier too. Also the music player was redesigned and is MUCH MUCH better too.

i know the phone says you can multi-task, but can you listen to music and text and other stuff like on the chocolates and the venus? if not that would really suck, possibly a deal breaker (for me anyway, im sure most wont care)

i have the 50.00 plan (america's favorite nationwide plan) and i couldn't keep it to use on this phone..they made me change plans....
they told me that dare doesn't support this plan... i've been a verizon wireless customer for 6 years..

That isn't right man do the math. I too had a the New every 2 and the $50 discount. And the phone came up to $149.00. If you get the instant discount from the website then you don't get the mail-in rebate

Just got hooked up with one today for FREE(tax only)...my friend is a manager at Verizon store and they just got in the shipment so i rushed down there to pick it up and extended my contract for 2 yrs. This phone is off the hook! The video capture is awesome and the touch response is definitely better than the Voyager. It's very compact and lighter than the enV2. Lovin it, now i just gotta find some way to put a new browser on it. Good luck you guys hope you get yours soon!

Apple has succeded at making us all believe the iPhone is the first, foremost and best. Mission accomplished. This is redicluous that every touch screen phone that is released is compared to the iPhone. Does every car with a V-8 engine get compared to a Corvette? The iPhone is a really COOL phone and I am a pretty big fan of apple, but STOP COMPARING EVERYTHING TO THE IPHONE!!!

the speaker is pretty loud when listening to music without a headset.. plus the different settings for sound effects make a difference in loudness as well

the speakers are not very loud when you're not using a headset. but other than that it's a sick phone. sprint does actualy have the best data network. better than verizon. i have sprint and verizon. mogul for sprint and q9m for verizon just to specify. i have used them both for internet on my lap top and the sprint is a tad faster than verizon. but verizon does give me better signal. one more thing customer service is good in verizon not so well for sprint. o and yah i work for sprint lol but i do give good customer service to my customers. lol
