Don't know how TM is still in business (i think it's b/c it's cheap...like a million minutes for 30 bucks) U need the minutes though for how many times you have to re-dial

So Verizon rules by encouraging churn? I probably wouldn't say that, I think that they should be more mature and let customers come because they want to do so.
I am sure $50 isnt going to be the deciding factor in whether a customer chooses to stay with VZW after the test drive period. It's just an incentive, or a reward, for making a smart choice ;]

All it is is a way to close a sale. If I can say, "I'll save you $50 today," that increases the chance of a yes decision right now. Even if they decide to say yes to Verizon later, they might not do so in my store, which means no comission for me. I like it.

Yea T-emporary MOBILE is available in NY but trust me no one pays attention to it just like Verizon is doing, lol. Verizon is smart to offer the extra incentive against Sprint because they know how badly and fast they are losing customers so it's sort of like a nail in the coffin. AT&T's poor call/data services should give any customer a reason to switch also. VZW BABY!!
Verizon Wireless IS and will ALWAYS be the MOST RELIABLE OUT OF ANY CARRIER IN THE CONTINENTAL US AND ABROAD THANKS TO THEIR GLOBAL DEVICES VZW ROCKS111111111111111111111
