Verizon Wireless offering

In the world of wireless, competition between the carriers has become a relatively common event. In an industry first between the wireless carriers, Verizon today announced a "switcher credit" of $50 for those that port in their number(s) from Sprint, and is waiving the activation fee for AT&T customers. As of now, the deal only applies to purchases at agent locations in certain states, and is running to October 31st. Interestingly enough, Verizon is offering a $50 service credit for those that port in from Sprint, but is only waiving the activation fee for those that port in from AT&T.
