Verizon Wireless launched a simple clamshell phone designed with the idea to be an easy-to-use cell, especially targeted to the elderly. In order to be as easy as possible, it comes with personalized menu (simpler than the standard) with large fonts. The changes on the hardware include 3 dedicated speed dial keys In Case of Emergency and dedicated 911 button. The volume and voice activation keys are white to contrast to the black surface (and so to be noticed easily) and the jacks for headset/charger are respectively in blue/red for the same reason.
The Verizon Wireless Coupe phone is available for $19.99 with a 2-year contract.
