Everything else I've seen shows the TP being released 11/24 to Phone/Online and 12/1 to stores. I don't know why this article tossed out an 11/14 date without much backup.
Plan on adding another 29.99 to your bill! It's freaking ridiculous and I'm pissed about it! I hope nobody buys the new data phones and Verizon is forced to retract the 29.99 data plan mandation!
BOYCOTT VERIZON! Greedy bastards!
I agree, it's B.S that Verizon is making the data plan a requirement with all new PDA phones. Especially with the way the economy is right now, come on! Get your head out of your @ss Verizon...

It is a mandatory $29.99 per month for all new PDA smartphones.
What a load of crap this is, I'd like to punch the person that thought this up right in the face!

The required data plan is a result of the many users that purchase these phones, tell themselves they do not need the data plan, they believe that .03/kb isnt that bad as pay as you go.. they then send and receive pics, access internet and then get their bill notice they have been charged $200+ for data usage.. These customers go crazy call into customer service demand a refund stating their sales rep never mentioned the unlimited data and VZW credits the customer.. So as a way to trim credits VZW is now requiring the data plan on PDA phones, dont be surprised if the requirement works its way down to the LG Dare, Voyager and similar devices.. ATT wont be far behind as usual...

This argument that people are pissed at the 29.99 data plan reminds me of car insurance.. If you buy a luxury car/ highend sports car you know your insurance is going to be higher monthly than say a minivan.. In this case the Storm or any PDA are your highend luxury cars and well your normal phone is a minivan.. Get over the 29.99/mo or find a different phone

Omnia will be out on the 1st of December. I just stopped by a Verizon store to see the Storm, which does look pretty cool and the Samsung rep was there. He let me try out the Omnia and it is pretty cool, but I didn't get to delve to much into it as I wasn't really supposed to be seeing it. Pricing not yet known. Pretty sure it had Wi-Fi, and it does have the FM radio.
and if you are poor or can barely afford the phone then why are you looking into buying a new phone whether it is pda or not? if i were poor i certainly would think about needs before wants
