i love how all the vzw fanboys are justifying not having a "simply everything" plan. sure, sprint may be going under, but that doesn't mean that vzw can't offer the same plan. and stop using the network as an excuse for everything vzw does. the network is good, but like any carrier, its not perfect. back to the topic at hand, the blackberry tropical storm julia looks pretty good. but, like every other vzw fanboy in here, until you get to use it, dont comment on how "amazing" it is. the omnia would be cool, if vzw didnt strip away some features (auto focus, wifi... yes, wifi is better than evdo rev a, but a data plan is still required for majority of use.... it would be nice to have it though)...

Everything I read has shown that the Omnia will have w-fi...Do you have proof other wise? B/C BGR reported it will have wi-fi

The auto-focus I have no clue about but being how far away the release is for the phone until VZW states it will not have it lets just wait on that on (again, I just don't know on it)

I just held the Omnia for the first time, and yes it does have Auto-focus and who cares about wi fi? The data plan will be required and it'll work wherever you have cell coverage.

Are you joking about saying, "who cares about Wi-Fi?" Are you stupid or just retarded? Have you experienced how much faster wi-fi is than Verizon's crappy internet? Why should I have to pay for a data plan if I have Wi-fi at work and home?
I don't know about you, but I can barely afford the phone... and the 29.99 data plan, well it ain't happening! Piss off Verizon!

What is the extra $15.00/month for the smartphone for? My data plan does include vcast.

no no no...its 29.99. flat rate. that vcast will drop off once you activate a pda because vcast is NOT compatible with any pda's or smartphones.

Thanks for pricing your phones so damn high Verizon. I was going to get the XV6850, but instead went and got a Fuze today. Love the TouchFLO 3D!

The real thing to look at is the HTC touch Pro which will be better than the Omnia and Storm put together considering it has a FULL KEYBOARD unlike the other too. It also has Touch FLO 3D also making it way better that the other too. IT IS GOING TO BE WAY BETTER THAN THE STORM AND OMNIA.

I dont see it being better than either unless a keyboard is a big deal or deal breaker for you. If it is then of course touch pro better but from what I have played with and talking to co-workers and what they have played with while a tight race (really cant go wrong w/ any) i would say touch pro finishes 3rd in that race. but personal and i think all will be among the best devices out.
