Unboxing of Dell Mini 3i in China includes capacitive stylus

advertisment:
In China, a new owner of the Dell Mini 3i unboxed his device and shared some interesting tidbits with the public. Despite sporting a capacitive touchscreen display, the phone comes with a special stylus designed to work on the screen. The logo on the box reads "The world's most compact Dell" which is an attempt to make you believe that the handset is a miniature computer. As far as the stylus is concerned, it is included to help those speaking Chinese to write in the symbols instead of typing them. Thus, it might be included for Chinese speaking areas only. The box comes in a nice, colorful red bag but the version of the handset for the Chinese market comes sans Wi-Fi. The model for other destinations will probably come without the stylus, but with Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity as the Dell Mini 3xi. As we've reported, Dell is expected to send the 3xi Stateside sometime next year. Dude, you're getting a Dell.
