hopefully the screen reorients itself look at the picture the texy is all sideways when having the qwerty keyboard out

It's probably just a model with a screen overlay, instead of it being the real screen. I'm sure it reorients itself when the keyboard is in use.

I've been doing alot of research on this phone and yes it does rotate. Not to sound mean but that wasnt a good question, I mean why would they make a phone that has a slideout keyboard but the screen doesnt rotate to landscape view? That would be very hard to type. Its just like the T-Mobile Sidekick, just with touch screen and in my opinion it seems alot better too.

Almost every picture of this phone has text that stays vertically. Even in the picture up top there is a message (an error message?) and its not in landscape. I was looking for the answer to this question too so thanks for asking and thanks for the answer.
