UPDATED: Samsung's Omnia II for Verizon spotted, pictured and videoed at CTIA

The fall CITA 2009 convention is well underway, and the big news came today from Samsung as they showcased their upcoming Omnia II i920 smartphone, which will be available through Verizon Wireless (though no price or date was announced). The Omnia II features a large 3.7" 480x800 WVGA resolution AMOLED display and comes with the new TouchWiz 2.0 interface, 5MP camera with 720x480 resolution video recording, and an advanced multimedia player for music and a wide variety of video formats. Unfortunately, the Omnia II will ship with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, but soon after there will be an updated ROM to version 6.5.
