UPDATED: Images, specs and pricing of the Samsung Intensity U450 for Verizon

advertisment:
These days it seems like every new phone is coming equipped with a QWERTY keyboard, and the Samsung Intensity U450 from Verizon will be no exception. The keyboard is side-sliding, similar to the Rogue U960, but the front will feature a standard LCD Display and numeric keypad instead of a touchscreen. Looking through the User Guide we see the camera will be 1.3MP, there will be a 2.5mm headset jack and a microSDHC memory card slot. The device will also only support 1X and Digital, lacking EVDO. Not to mention MediaFLO Mobile TV is nowhere to be found, despite it being listed in the FCC documents. We're hearing that the Intensity will launch around the same time as the Rogue, but will be more budget friendly.

They could have done a white color scheme instead of the red. The red makes the phone look dated. White body w/ black buttons, and dark 'chrome' around the main nav button, completely sexy.

Think about it: This is really just the "keyboard" version of the Samsung Trance. It slides in landscape orientation instead of portrait and has a keyboard. No other real difference. Two Samsung phones that play music but lack EV-DO. Like I said, the "keyboard" version of the Trance.
