UIQ files for Bankruptcy

advertisment:
A company once “shared” by Motorola and Sony Ericsson, UIQ, has just announced that they have filed for bankruptcy. Thoughts or rumors already swarmed the software firm when they started to cut employees about six months ago. Bankruptcy was finally declared at court in Sweden. What pushed this company “over the edge” was Nokia’s purchase of Symbian, and their plan to market it for free. Their Chief Executive John Sandberg explained that their company has “no opportunities to create a new line of business in the current financial climate."
