i worked for sprint while having a VZW phone...and I must say SPRINT SUCKS! our customer service was horrible, the company didnt know how to run the company and that is why its a train wreck now, they srew over employees and applaud us for screwing over and lying to our customers. Yea, the plans are cheap and so are the phones, but like they say "you get what you pay for" and sprint customers are experiencing that now. Now I am not saying that Vdub is perfect, but dammit its a whole lot better than it competitors.

oh...and did i mention sprint coverage sucks. those terminals at the stores that shows coverage maps and allows you to map your address is an all out lie
Well buddy, honestly every company has good coverage in certain areas and then again some of them dont have as much of a great coverage in other areas like yours for example. Maybe your phone is old and needs a PRL (Tower Update) or maybe you just need a brand new phone all together and im sure you do have a house phone and probably wireless Internet in your home and a microwave in which all do affect reception not to mention police radars and etc... But if you dont experience great reception with one company in your home area then leave and go with the a company that gives you the best signal. Theres not one company that doesn't have dead spots, Att states "The company with the fewest dropped calls" Bullshyt, and Verizon believe it or not They have poor reception in mostly all of the Southern states. For the most part what i am trying to say is no matter where you go whether your with Att or Verizon your going to be complaining about EVERY LITTLE THING lol, just like all the other customers do.

So I order the Sprint Sero $30 plan on Friday, July 11, and I get my phone last night. When I activate it, Sprint Activation tells me I'm on the Sprint basic 200 plan for $29.99 a month! Then when I call to change it, they're insistent that I give them the CID of the employee who referred me, and when I said I didn't have it and didn't need it for the order, they refused to help me out in any way.
Today I spoke with a supervisor who accused me of only placing and paying for my order on July 15 because that's what the COMPUTER said. I told him my order receipt was dated July 11 and had the last 4 digits of my CC card on it. He wanted to see it, so I faxed it to him. He still claims I needed a CID when I place the order but I told him that was b.s. and anyone with access to a cache of the Sprint.com/sero website from July 11 can prove that it's b.s. He said he'd see what he can do and I should call back in 4 hours. Let's see if I get my plan.
No problems with Sprint here in Iowa, Illinois and Missouri. I've only had one dropped call in over a year of usage so I'm not complaining. I've dropped a few calls when I was with Verizon too so no big deal. I love SERO and converted my sister who lives in KC from Verizon to SERO and she loves it. She went from paying $79.99 per month for 900 mins and 1500 text messages to $49.99 for 1250 mins and unlimited everything else, lol. I've never had any problems with CSR, I called the employee line once just to make sure things would get done, but everything else has went well. Best of all, we can finally add our own ringtones and apps without paying top dollar for the crap you have to buy from Verizon. I love Sprint!!!
Hey, well my birthday is coming up and recently my sister got the sero plan before it was requring the cid number. now i want it but it has the cid number.
