I wouldnt under estimate verizons ability to switch over to LTE quickly. I could be wrong but i thought they were the first to announce it as the next step. In the end its going to be verizon and att neck and neck. Its going to come down to preference and probably customer service. Its going to be the two largest carriers roaming off of eachother. Can you imagine the coverage!!! I think at that point you will as see alot of exclusive phones for each carrier.

i really doubt att will get LTE out before vzw, they havent even deployed full coverage 3g networking and if anyone has the money to do it vzw does. they were the first to get widespread 3g out and know its key to their business success so it doesnt matter who has GSM right now but who can roll out network coverage fastest and history shows vzw will.

I was with vzw for almost 2 yrs..screwed up billing on too many occasions..nickle n diming me..why charge mb usage for a ringtone even you are going through vzw's software portals..now a pretty happy customer with ATT, yah call quality isnt as good, but hey..$125 for 2 lines with unlim. 2 way, texting..cant go wrong!..vzw..you can be your $175+ for same features...hehe vzw might as well strap IV to its customers.

Hey look! Stuff being made up out of thin air!

Seeing as though VZW's and AT&T's voice and text price points are nearly identical clearly jcrow full of crap. Nice try dude but if you're going to lie at least don't make it a stupid and obvious one.

Alright keep in mind that you pay for your coverage when you have vzw. WE have been fist in customer service, plus its a need for you to be able to read your bill. As far as charge per mb, Alot of customers where complaing that their minutes would run low month to month, therefore vzw came up with this new NAtion wide to separeate the two. When you buy an app you pay the creater not vzw.

First in customer service by who. AT&T shuts down on the weekends and is unreachable. VZW cust care is always available to ya. AT&T you need to wait on every occasion to get a warrenty replacement. VZW can be done in store on most occassion. According to Consumer reports VZW is # 1 in that catagory as well as the others. AT&T is battling with Sprint for fourth in all catagories.

All I can say is vzw does a great job at crippling features and STILL charging for its geatures that can be bought cheaper from ATT or even sprint--they are going downhill (Sprint)..thats why their prices r sooo low..I had em for a week..no real issues, other than choppy reception calling my wife on her phone..we have 2 exact phones!..lol!..I just believe in keeping the minutes I dont use..GO ATT!..Rollover!!

Ha Rollover. What a joke. Minutes you don't use just sitting there waiting for you not to use them because you didn't use them the previous month and doubt your going to use all your min the next month. I have had Sprint, ATT, and now Verizon. I have to say Verizon is the best at quality and customer service. I can call them and tell them that I can't get any reception in an area and then two days later I see a verzion wireless van driving around my area with a guy on a cell phone. Then a few months later bam I have full coverage cause they just put up a tower down the road. That to me is customer service!

i'm calling shenanigans. Towers are not put because you complained. They take time and numerous approvals. If this is true, it's purely coincidental. Nice try chief.

if enough people complain, that is exactly what happens. coincidental? if it was 2 days later, rather than months, you may be right.

Truth be told, Verizon Wireless does take in to account consumer and employee suggestions about their netowrk. Verizon DOES want to know where coverage/reception is a problem and WILL try to improve upon those areas. Yes, there are things that get in the way - they do have to be approved, residents in an some areas actually have the say-so about towers being built and so forth, not to mention that sometimes it is not the need of a new tower, but the improvement upon an existing tower - but Verizon DOES want to know about any and all coverage problems so that they may be addressed, and, if possible, corrected. As a current employee I have seen numerous occasions where such things were done - maybe the first was a little exxagerative, but he is right.

Right now in America the Fight is between AT&T and Verizon Wireless. That's just America, not the rest of the world. The No.1 company in the world (based on customers) is Vodaphone. Who own's VZW? 60% Verizon Landlines, 40% Vodaphone. LTE is an untied front from two of the biggest Mobile companies in the world, with it being more of a focus for VZW, since it's not a GSM based company. Who won majority of the 700mhz spectrum?.... VZW for LTE. The OTHER comapny in the US that is also doing LTE is AT&T. But they're going to finish developing their 3G network first. The only way that they will be "PARALLEL" (= Tied) is if they abandon their 3G network and start developing LTE. They probably will do that since thats the way they treat their customers when they change their networks all the time. AT&T and Cingular have a history of ealry to support and quick to abandon their technologies. I'm not saying that AT&T is worse than Verizon Wireless; VZW and AT&T are both Dicks for one thing or another, but based on reports and the way this industry is heading, VZW is going nail a huge blow against AT&T, if not crippling them.

If there's a fight between AT&T and Verizon, this is no fight for Verizon. Weather you call it Cingular, or AT&T (pardon my french) crap is crap. AT&T always had a good reputation thats why Cingular merged or bought them out, what ever the case may be AT&T will never ever be a match for Verizon.
