- Visual Voicemail Plus is a new app for Android that allows you to check your voicemail directly on the smartphone, without having to waste time dialing special numbers. The program also enables users to archive, recover and organize messages on the handset. YouMail’s Visual Voicemail Plus is also available for the iPhone and BlackBerry.
- AT&T’s BlueAnt Q1 Bluetooth headset will be available on July 19. Users will have a quick access to the device most important functions via different voice commands. Simply saying “What can I say?” will make the BlueAnt Q1 tell you the available commands. So, what could be bigger than having the chance to talk with your own headset? Well, what about the price tag of $129.99? That’s the amount AT&T has announced you would need to shell out.
- Vodafone is to release a personalized homescreen for Nokia S60 smartphones. The homescreen, called Vodafone Homescreen (how inspiring), sports a four-way menu system that gives access to messages, games, apps, widgets and favorite contacts. A simplified “My Web” version of the homescreen is already available for the Nokia 6120 classic.
- LG’s S-Class 3D user interface can now be experienced on a computer. An emulator of the award-winning interface has been launched, offering user wannabes the chance to try out a virtual ARENA before buying an S-Class handset. You can also check it out through the “source” link below.
