This article contains unofficial information.
You can come across pretty interesting things on the Internet if willing to devote some time to digging for information. For example, UAProfile reveals the existence of the Samsung T949. The handset will probably appear in T-Mobile´s product catalogue soon, since that´s precisely the carrier that gets all models of the manufacturer that have names starting with "T" and ending with "9". The device profile doesn´t disclose many details, but at least we know the cell phone will come with WVGA touch-sensitive screen (native resolution of 800х480). Moreover, it will be equipped with Dolfin 1.5 browser, 3G and A-GPS and given the particular screen resolution and browser, we guess the Samsung T949 is none other but the American version of the Samsung Jet S8000 developed for T-Mobile. This would probably make quite a few customers of the carrier happy, because the Jet is one of the best feature phones we have seen to date and its place in our European Holiday gift guide 2009 is well-deserved.
