The LG New Chocolate BL20 appears in a video for the first time

advertisment:
There´s quite a lot of information about the LG New Chocolate BL20 that´s currently available, but the lack of certain details that we consider of utmost importance has made us toss and turn night after night. While on our daily prowl after thrilling new things on YouTube, we came across a video of the New Chocolate BL20 in all its glory. The video itself looks professionally made, so we believe it´s probably LG´s handiwork.

We are given to understand the New Chocolate BL20 is direct successor to the first Chocolate right away. It gets called „ultra-thin and compact 3G cell phone", but its exact dimensions are not revealed. Just as we expected, all navigational buttons of the handset are touch-sensitive, but it seems the same holds true for the volume rocker as well.

We have already reported the phone will be running LG´s proprietary S-Class 3D interface, but we can see there are certain differences alongside of what we have previously seen, probably due to the software overhaul that the lack of touch sensitive screen calls for. That´s why the handset sports a key, dedicated to switching between widgets.

We already know the LG New Chocolate BL20 is coming with 5-megapixel camera. What we didn´t, however, is the camera will feature LED flash and Schneider-KREUZNACH optics. The video also showcases a function called Text Scan, that should allow users to take perfect pictures of written notes. We do hope we will soon get our hands on a final, retail unit of the successor to the Chocolate, so we can shed more light and tell you everything about it. Until then, take a look at the beautiful video below.

This should be the definition of a new Verizon Cholcate phone. It sticks to the original design, yet adds a sense of spice to the newer version. I hate the proposed Verizon Touch VX8575, this should be the Verizon Touch!

VZW has had effectively the same phone for years.

There is just something about them that takes out anything even remotely resembling aesthetics.

Don't think you'd need navigation keys on full touch.

This is what the original Choco should have been. Looks pretty decent I think. But it's got a 5mp camera...there's no way it's coming to VZW anytime soon. Why is it that so many phones overseas have these ridiculously good cameras, and here in the states we're still struggling to get 3mp cameras in some phones STILL? I've never understood that. I could understand if this had something to do with the network, but it's a camera. And higher MPs are obviously an option as SO many other phones have 7,8,9,12 MP cameras overseas.
