Great now I can get unlimited family plan, but I still don't have any reception. Can't wait until no contract is up so I can go to a real cell phone company like Verizon. I tired of using my friends cell phone to make phone calls.

TOO BAD DOING THIS ISN'T GOING TO INSPIRE ANY OTHER PROVIDERS TO DROP THEIR UNLIM FAMILY PLAN PRICES EXCEPT FOR MAYBE SPRINT WHICH WILL DO ANYTHING IT CAN TO TRY TO SURVIVE ANOTHER 5 YEARS. AT&T AND VERIZON BOTH KNOW THEY DON'T HAVE TO MATCH THESE PRICES BECAUSE IT REALLY WON'T MAKE A HUGE ENOUGH DIFFERENCE IN SALES AND NEW ACTIVATIONS TO DO SO.

you have to realize that the price wars will affect the big two sooner or later if the economy doesnt get better. consumers are not going to be paying premium prices cuz of the most reliable network commercials. If sprint and tmo keep slashing prices eventually ppl will switch. just check out how ford trucks are being outsold by honda cars, comsumers arent going to luxury these days.

But if you cant make a call then whats the point of having extra money in your pocket. People pay for realiable service and thats why VZW and AT&T dont have to compete with these prices

To Me This is a very good plan but this is not going to force any of the other majors to follow suit because they arent big enough but att might because of the verizon alltel merger yesterday. Att might want to steal as miny customers as they can from the new super big red so they can at least try to even the score with there customer base

too bad the article does not have correct information. Verizon Wireless started a family share unlimited plan February 19th when it initiated the Unlimited plans.

Yeah, but the price for it is way too expensive.

2 lines for 269.98
3 lines for 389.97
4 lines for 509.96
5 lines for 629.95

The T~Mobile plan is much better, you save quite a bit.
Sprints Simply Everything deal comes in second for it.

T-mobile isn't all that bad. I have it, and I'm okay with it so far. The reception isn't all that bad, and they have good deals. This unlimited family plan is awesome, because it's way cheaper having unlimited call/messaging for two people with this plan then it is having different text plans for each person, plus a bunch of minutes and my faves. And that verizon wireless plan is just way too expensive. It's rediculous!
