T-Mobile adds Sony Ericsson TM506, expands 3G network

A couple of weeks ago, Sony Ericsson announced the presence of the 3G capable TM506, which is currently the first SE phone offered by T-Mobile U.S. in the last few years. At present, there are two color variants: Amber (black with silver) and Emerald (black with green), but if the model proves to be a success, we can expect additional schemes in the future. The price is $80 with a 2-year contract.
On Sunday, without any announcements or press releases, T-Mobile U.S. has granted its Philadelphia clients with 3G network, bringing the count to seven cities. Earlier, unofficial information showed a list of 27 markets that should receive 3G coverage by October 1, which looks pretty unrealistic as the time inches to the promised date.
