We’ve seen a couple of Verizon handsets get an update to Windows Mobile 6.5 without much wait after the new year arrived. The same cannot be said about T-Mobile; which saw updates for the HTC Touch Pro2 and Dash 3G pushed back to January 20 from the rumored initial date of January 6. Still it’s no biggie and refreshing to see that Microsoft still has an interest in getting T-Mobile on board – especially when they were the first carrier domestically to offer the Touch Pro2. The official word is out now and the wait shouldn’t be too long for those who’ve held onto the devices since their release hoping for this day to arrive. Even new customers inquiring about possibly purchasing either handsets can rest knowing that they’ll be up-to-date when compared to other recent offerings.
