One of our most loyal tipsters has just shared some quite spicy info with us. Hi-end handset lovers will be delighted to know that the RIM BlackBerry Storm 2, the HTC Touch Pro2 (XV6875), as well as the Samsung Omnia II and Convoy U640 (okay, this one might not be that hi-end really) have now appeared in Verizon’s inventory database. Unfortunately, we do not have any other details on these guys as of now, but hope this means we will see them official soon enough.

You didn’t think this was over, did you? Interestingly enough, two Palm devices have also found their way to the carrier’s system. Codenamed P101 and P121, we have absolutely no idea what these are, but we can still speculate a bit by saying that there is a chance for the P101 to be the Palm Pre itself. The reason for this is that back in March, when we got to check out the leaked 2009 roadmap of Sprint, the Pre was mentioned also as the P100. So, could the P101 be the Verizon Pre and could the P121 be the Eos? Alright, alright, we won’t push our luck here and will just wait for something new on the matter.

No, let hem take their time. Cause then they'll release it trying to rush push it, and it'll have a million software issues. lol I am looking at the TP2 or the Storm 2.

yeah, I really don't know what they're going to do come September 8th, if they don't release more smartphones. I mean, you seriously mean to tell me that someone's going to pay $99 for the Rogue if the Omnia, Ozone, TP1, and Diamond are still available for $99 or less? Then again, if those drop from availability, they're only going to have the Samsung Saga, Ozone, and a BB's. Not much of a selection if you ask me.

I'm dying to spend my money already. I want to have it before i go to school. Which is on Sep 8th!!! arghhh but most likely, i'm going to buy Tp2, even though i hate Verizon's green/red color for call/end button....

I bet it was shipped from china with a decent looking version of S60 to emulate RIM's OS... Or it is a test model with tons of defects... what a waste of money.... and they say we're still in a recession when people blow 1100.00 on a stupid phone... Until a phone can hold 2gb Ram, a 124ssd, and house an nvidia 3D graphics accellerator I would never spend over 1k for it.

I did my best but after some of the Storm 2 leaked videos, they have alot of restrictions for any type of recording devices anywhere near any of the new phones. Sorry guys, next time I won't get everyones hopes up until I have the pics.
