Sprint to refund $90 to certain ex-customers

If you left Sprint before your contract expired and had to pay an Early Termination Fee, or even if you stayed with the carrier for fear of getting charged an ETF, you might be entitled to some money from the settlement of a Class-Action lawsuit. First, make sure that your account is completely up-to-date. The account must be yours or belong to a deceased loved-one who was charged the fee. There are three different levels based on the amount of proof you can show. It is more confusing than reading the instructions to put together that toy you bought your kid this past Christmas. But the bottom line is that if you can prove you were charged an ETF, you should get back $90. If you didn't change carriers because of fear of the ETF, you could get back $35. Visit Top Class Actions or the official Sprint ETF Settlement page to read all about what you need to do to submit your claim. For most ex-Sprint customers who paid the ETF to leave the carrier, even $90 wouldn't cover the entire amount of the fee they were charged.

I am sure Sprint is just ecstatic about giving away more money. This is becoming just sad.

what this article fails to mention is ATT is named a co defendent, and that Verizon had a similar lawsuit filed against them a few years back. These article are demeaning and plain useless but thanks again....
