Just because they answer the phone in less than 30 seconds it doesn't mean that they are providing good customer service.

Sprint customer service is piss poor.
After dealing with 20+ phone calls to get them to let me cancel my line WHILE I WAS OVER 4 MONTHS OUT OF CONTRACT they finally did.

AT&T's customer service has been a godsend the 3 times I've called them. Quick response from a knowledgeable agent. I felt like Sprint CSRs had the IQ of a rat.

Response time and quality of customer service are in no way related, so this survey seems to be pretty useless overall. What's the point of the phone being answered within 30 seconds if you get the help you were seeking. There is no correlation.

If you get the help you are seeking then whats the problem?

call volume and response time directly affect customer satisfaction, the more customers call back the bigger the call volume gets plain and simple, if customers aren't satisfied then they will be calling back. The bigger the call volume the longer wait before a rep can answer a call, that means sprint is doin somethin right whether u want to believe it or not, but we still need a long way to go IMO

Sprint customer service has indeed improved imho. I visit the stores and is amazing to see the customer focus that they have vs the sales oriented environment when I go to V. The Verizon guys go all out to try to sell you, Sprint guys try to get to know what you need and match those needs. Every 2 years when my contract expires I go shopping around and my Verizon contract is about to expire and Simply Everything here I come.

Well it sucks that you get that treatement at a VZW store. From someone who's gone through many VZW training classes, It's not about the companies bottom line, but making sure the customer has everything they need. Sure there is some selling involved to do this... sometimes custoemrs don't know about something they may need or want.
