If you are already an existing Sprint customer, you can switch to the Simply Everything plan without extending your current contract either by contacting Sprint customer service or by stopping by at any participating Sprint store. New customers will require a two-year contract.
If you subscribe your whole family to the Simply Everything plan, Sprint will include an incremental $5 discount for each incremental line, up to five lines on the same bill.
Also today, Sprint announced a $29.5 billion loss for Q4 ($10.36 per share), which included most of the remaining value of its 2005 purchase of Nextel Communications (a year ago the company earned $261 million). The continued loss of customers probably forced the company to announced today’s $99.99 Simply Everything plan.
