Sprint also to launch the MiFi 2200

Sprint has just announced its plans to release the Novatel Wireless MiFi 2200. Just like the Verizon’s offer, Sprint gives you the MiFi 2200 for $99.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate. The device will be available for purchase in the carrier’s retail stores, other select channels and online, starting the first week of June.

The plans that you will be able to enjoy it on are as follows: $59.99 per month mobile broadband only or $149.99 per month for the Simply Everything Plan + mobile broadband, both excluding taxes and surcharges. Keep in mind that both plans include a maximum of 5 GB traffic per month and you’ll be charged 5 cents per every single megabyte over the limit. You won’t be allowed to get the MiFi 2200 on cheaper plans, such as Verizon’s $39.99 monthly access plan, but the 250 MB one is hardly what most people who want the device would opt for anyway.

The Novatel Wireless MiFi 2200 acts like a mobile hotspot, which allows you to connect your Wi-Fi enabled devices through the carrier’s EVDO Rev A Network. You can check our Verizon MiFi 2200 Review here.

Why don't they let the family plans get that price too, can't wait til the WiMax one hits the scene. Not taking anything from this

sprint was the last to implement the 5gb cap... and theyre data network is still the fastest... either way, i agree with the rest of you guys, these caps suck!
