As always, (at least) a few days after Verizon Wireless, Sprint announced the BlackBerry Curve 8330. However, Sprint customers may cheer up as they will be able to purchase it later this month (probably April 16th) for as low as $180 after rebates. Verizon announced it will start offering it one month later, at $90 more.
The CDMA Curve follows the idea of the GSM model (available with both AT&T and T-Mobile): it is a compact consumer-targeted phone with full QWERTY, but is also equipped with a camera. It has QVGA landscape display, 2-megapixel camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD slot, and HTML browser.
