First high-resolution image of a new Sony Ericsson GSM phone surfaced on the net. The new phone is supposed to be numbered W999 and is pretty slider with “Butterfly”-keyboard a la the M600 smartphone. We don’t know if this one will also operate on Symbian UIQ (or the non-touch-display technology Motorola used in the RIZR Z8?) but it will have HSDPA for fast internet speed. There is no camera for video calling, but the rumors say there will be 2-megapixel one, unlike the M600 which lacks any. The display is supposed to be QVGA with size of 2.4 inches. It will be only half-inch thick (12.5mm)
We will update you with information on the new Walkman W999i phone as soon as we have any.
